Assembly automation

Assembly automation

Standalone or in-line – why not both?

As flexible as manual assembly, as reliable as an automated system: PARO assembly systems are used by customers from almost every sector. PARO assembly systems are individually tailored to their task and can be supplemented or modified at any time. An assembly workstation, industrial robot and rotary transfer machine become a flexible, linked assembly system and vice versa. Though all of our assembly systems are individual, they are always based on three principles: modularity, simple and sound technical solutions and top-quality components.

What makes our assembly automation systems unique

PARO assembly machines can handle a wide variety of parts, from microcomponents to hybrid elements and assemblies weighing 10 kg. This means that production can be modified without the assembly machine becoming a bottleneck.

Cycle times

Typical PARO assembly machines operate within an output range of five to 60 parts per minute, which puts them on a par with cam-controlled systems. This machine performance can be increased if the system is fitted with multiple tooling.

Time and again, customer projects cannot be solved with an existing approach. As we place a high priority on innovation, we are well equipped for such cases. We take part in research projects in Switzerland and the EU that are developing new solutions for tomorrow’s industry.

Transfer systems

Transfer systems

The best solutions stand the test of time.

No other product line from PARO is as successful as our transfer systems, which have been found in all kinds of assembly equipment for more than 30 years. They are equally suitable for simple tasks and sophisticated transfers of electronic components, thanks to their antistatic design.

The Paromat system is like a construction kit; if the capacity of the system needs to be supplemented or modified, this can be achieved quickly and easily. If production changes, the Paromat system changes with it. Where that necessitates a redesign of the system, we will be there to offer advice.

Tried and tested over many years: our transfer system with a wide range of durable components.

Service and remote maintenance

Service and remote maintenance

We’re right there when problems arise.

Even after we have delivered a PARO assembly system, the partnership with our customers goes on. Our powerful remote maintenance system helps us to locate problems rapidly and offer initial help from a distance. Where critical faults occur, our engineers quickly arrive on site to help prevent long downtimes.
